What is Traditional Healing?

Traditional healing is a holistic approach that addresses the body, mind, and spirit. Unlike conventional medicine, which mostly focuses on treating specific symptoms or conditions, traditional healing emphasizes an overall well-being and balance. These practices are rooted in cultural, spiritual, and ancestral knowledge, and are deeply connected to beliefs, values, and the natural environment. The central concept in traditional healing is the restoration of harmony within the individual, between their physical body, emotional state, and spiritual health.

Traditional healers work to balance the the body, spirit, and mind may include techniques with herbal remedies, spiritual cleanses, energy healing, and more. Healing is not only about curing the illness but restoring the person to their optimal state of health, where all parts of their being are aligned.
